The Largest forests are in Northeastern and Central Estonia, home to untamed wildlife including foxes, deer, wolves, elk and bears.

Bears are a Big Deal:

With a population of about 700 brown bears, Estonia boasts the highest Brown Bear density in Europe.

Birds are a Big Deal too:

The East Atlantic Flyway is a migration route used by some 90 million birds annually.

Public transport:

Tallinn has a free transportation for those who are officially registered as Tallinners. This saves locals big amount of money every month and is also very comfortable.

More than 2,000 Islands:

Estonian islands are known for their rustic charm and islands are the place where you can explore how Estonians used to live before the modern age. Most Estonian islands are small and uninhabited, where you can go birdwatching, canoeing, sailing or fishing

One of the Largest Folk Music Festivals in Europe:

The Viljandi Folk Music Festival or Viljandi Pärimusmuusika festival is one of the largest folk music festivals in Europe. This festival, which takes place every year in July in castle park, in the centre of Vilijandi, is for everyone including children.

Estonian Saunas:

It would be a sin to return home without trying an authentic Estonian sauna. The 800-year-old custom is a refreshing activity and a local everyday luxury best enjoyed in good company and surrounded by nature.

Estonian Cuisine:

Traditional Estonian food and drinks are inseparable from Baltic history. Many Estonian dishes can be traced back to the Middle Ages.
